The Pioneer Bakery Cafe - Kirkwood

I ordered a short rib breakfast plate and what a disaster. The meat was extremely over cooked hard and the eggs were over cooked. The potatoes were not soft and the whole experience was ruined as a first timer. I even spoke with someone letting them know I was a first and what do they recommend. Outstanding place for breakfast in the St. Louis area. Great service and atmosphere

Went for lunch. We had the BLTA sandwich and the Brieberry ham sandwich. Both were excellent. Great service, and we plan to return.

Excellent food!! We were in town for a conference and ordered the boxed lunches.

Baking goods are equal quality to regular grocery store, if feels like they buy from grocery store and just put it in their shop, it’s basically junk “when it comes to bakeries”. Ahhhh it does come with high end bakery prices, so I guess you get my point, way overpriced for what it is. Only way someone would rate this place 5 star, is if you have never been anywhere outside of KIRKWOOD MO. This place sucks.
