Millbridge Fisheries Fish Chips

"The fish and chips at this restaurant are excellent - the best in the area. I always go there because they are better than anywhere else."

I went today and asked the person behind me in the queue to allow me some space, he was initially about 40-50cm from me, he gave me this space. When I was called into the shop I would have been stood about 50cm from another customer, so I said I 'm ok here thanks and I gave my order from the door. The existing customer in the shop paid and left, I then went in and gave my money, collected my order and left. The man behind me in the queue entered and said stupid woman, over reacting and then I heard a woman laugh, it was women serving behind the counter, RUDE! When I got home I discovered I had a very small portion of chips, which was all I ordered, maybe this was deliberate as a reaction to me not wanting to enter the shop? The chips weren 't cold but they also weren 't hot; luke warm.

Really pleasant staff some remember our order. Accepts cards and always nice and hot food. If you have a little wait while some thing is being cooked the staff will talk to you if you want and they aren't too busy. There's parking spaces at both front and back and easy to get to

One of the best fish and chips I've had anywhere. Good mushy peas as well. Staff friendly. Will call again when in the area.
