This time we go to the Landgasthof Bären (Landgasthof Bären), which existed for more than 500 years. Here “Lust is freshly prepared daily on typical regional dishes or specialties from Spanish Alsatian cuisine and, of course, with the best seasonal ingredients from the region.” And we wanted to raise this wish, because HP also promises to “process local products from the region and from its own production”. That sounds good, so after the offers (again with the great dog of my friend, and that without reservation! The house looks very welcoming from the outside, in white and red with gray shutters and a large free staircase of eleven stages each, which certainly does not make the visit easy for disabled people. After the warm welcome of one of the service women, we were offered a table under which the dog had good place and of course not under, but at the table! The fine menu was delivered to us quickly. My question about "Ganter Urtrunk" (2,60 € , which yesterday had cost so well, was immediately hunted and ordered, my girlfriend was as usual a mineral water (2,40 € ), both well cooled and quickly brought along. My Ganter Urtrunk (2,60 €, an unfiltered natural beer, was served today unlike yesterday, the bottle with the bow down in the glass (see photo). Why? The bottle is first slightly shaken, turned into the glass and then waits a little until the pulps sink into the bottle neck, so that they are uniformly distributed during the indentation and no remainder remains in the bottle. On the map we found a rich offer, only two pages with the recommendations for regional dishes we wanted to choose. At GG, I had already read “Buzz” in various reviews and commented that I had never eaten it. That should change tonight. So for me “homemade sauce with sauerkraut and roast potatoes” for € 12.40. After the quantitative experience last night I ordered the dish as a senior for 2 € less. You can do this at all the main courses we really find good! My friend chose “homemade chin bakery with salad set and peasant bread” for 8,50 €, and we both had no idea what chin bakery is exact and not asking. Why did we want something typical Badisch? A basket with a few thin slices of the baguette and a little gray bread, along with a bowl of spiced quarter was soon placed on our table. The quark nothing special, the bread dry, the baguette cuts too thin and with a large hole in the middle also slightly older. After the order we had to look around. The guest room looks bright and friendly with the beautifully covered tables, a very well maintained country house style that we like well. After a suitable waiting period our main dishes came. Au weia, did I really order a senior? Two large slices of meat, juicy looking, still delicate pink, with little fat on the edges, beside my view abundant sauerkraut and a large bowl full of crispy roast potatoes. The meat was pleasantly pickled, how juicy as it looked, the sour wort was still crispy, but from the spice not quite my taste, the roast potatoes could still use some salt and pepper, but were then suitable. And the garbage? My friend saw some savings on the face of the lot of fat. Question to the connoisseurs of the Baden cuisine: Do the Kinnbäckle look as always in restaurants? The upper pane had the lowest fat content. Later I suggested on the net: “Kinnbäckle – smoked pork, very rich, originally intended for the hard-working rural population.” I didn't find any photos like mine on the net. My friend seized the few fat-free pieces carefully, found them tastefully good, but as they do not belong to the hard-working rural population, most remained on the plate. We didn't imagine that. Maybe a hint of service would have helped? We had said before that we had never eaten both dishes. The salad, made with the appropriate sauce for the various ingredients, tasted good to my friend. I needed a Ramazotti afterwards for relatively expensive 4,20 € for digestion, my girlfriend took an espresso for 2,40 € (as she said, again well. The service worked attentively, friendly and fast, asked and was very interested in the satisfaction of the guests. The mistakes of the young trainees during serving and cleaning took place in the neighboring table and were deported to them. Also in this house we could pay with EC card. How can I rate the food? If the chin bäckle is actually the way it was served, and finally, of course, I assume that from ignorance, the choice was wrong, so as for my food I also give a total of four stars. In cleanliness and PLV (until Ramazotti there is nothing to complain, overall we were satisfied.

We had lunch with your family this afternoon. Super tasty kitchen, no long waiting period, no ski school, sufficiently large portinones, friendly service, nice, clean ambience, very good price-performance ratio!!! Conclusion: We come back, promised!!!

We celebrated our wedding here and it was just great! Contact with Thomas Steinhart in advance was uncomplicated and he made everything we wanted! Great food, great staff and great ambience!!! We are happy to come back!!!
