Bidrage med feedbackI ordered food from Texas True BBQ because I wanted to feed my family. So, I ordered the party of 6 family dinners together with a baked potato and donut bread pudding. When my food came home and I opened the bag to my surprise all that there was a baked potato and banana pudding. Where was the rest of my order? After the order of the delivery company, I found out that my order was changed because the Meal Combo I bought was not in stock. If I had known that the food I chose would not be available, I would have chosen something else or canceled my order. Instead, I was left with a baked potato and donut bread pudding to feed a family of 5. Thank you. True BBQ for your professionalism and great customer service. Update: After talking to customer service and a mgr. from the restaurant, I was told that one of the items I bought was set and replaced by something else. It cancelled the part of my order. They tried to contact the delivery service I went through to buy my food and was commissioned.. So they went on and sent the rest of my order. A loaded potato to feed 5 people Oh and do not forget Bread pudding.. SM Thank God I have not fed people in a time
One of my personal favorite BBQ spots! The atmosphere screams only Texas, their drink selection is OK, their sandwiches is God-tier, their Mac n cheese is not so good, their Cobbler is amazing, and they have the best bread! Overall in my Top 3 and my third favorite BBQ Spot.
Surprisingly good BBQ for a grocery store restaurant. Definitely overpriced, and some of the leaner meat is pretty dry. The menu is confusing, and the kids options aren't very good. But, all things considered, it's a good meal in a convenient location.
This is $17+ dollars worth of food? No complaints about the taste, which was good-to-fair for Houston BBQ. But ONE slice of brisket and the three smallest pork ribs on the rack was inadequate and disappointing, particularly given the cost. I would have sent it back, but you recall what Joe Pesci said about drive-throughs, right. I?m taking the time to post this review, so it?s probably clear to all how irritated I am with this. It?ll be a long time before I waste my money there. Caveat Emptor!
This restaurant is normally a favorite. We ordered a platter for 16 people. It was all great, but the chicken was not properly cooked. When we cut into it blood came out and it was red/pink. I contacted the manager. He did not ask me to come pick it up, have me bring it in, or to redo the order. Instead, he stated that some people don't understand how smoked chicken should be. Perhaps that's the case, but as a local physician I understand Salmonella. I have heard of steak tartare, but not chicken tartare. The manager's response was suboptimal for what is otherwise a fine place. He would have done better to first look at the chicken and make sure it was safe to be consumed. While some parts were cooked, others were raw.
