I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is amazing, the restaurant itself is beautifully designed, and the staff are friendly and polite. I recently spent over 4 weeks in the hospital and am now homebound and bedridden, so a friend kindly picks up takeout for me since I live outside the delivery area. Last Thursday evening, I enjoyed tofu with mixed vegetables, asparagus with cashew nuts, mixed vegetable fried rice with egg, and chips with satay sauce. My friend opted for mushroom fried rice, while sneakily stealing some of my asparagus! We typically also order edamame and vegetable spring rolls for me, and chicken in black bean sauce and hot and sour soup for my friend. Tonight's meal will consist of tofu and mixed vegetables, vegetable gyoza, satay sauce, egg fried rice, and a side of chips. I cannot express how much I love the food here! While it may not be the most affordable takeout option, I am more than willing to pay higher prices for exceptional quality and flavor. As a vegetarian for 45 years, I have struggled to find good vegetarian options in traditional restaurants, but New Regent has been a lifesaver for me and my carnivorous friends. The service is top-notch, and the average price per person for dinner falls between £20-30.

The salt and pepper chicken did not taste like chicken. The squid and chicken had no flavour. The shredded beef was sticky and not crispy. Overall all dishes were not very warm. Poor quality food ordered Singapore fried PRAWN noodles which was very bland and had only 3 prawns with hardly any vegetables.. The beef chow mein was very greasy! Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30
