Costa Coffee - Kingston upon Thames

Wasn't that busy which was nice just to chill having coffee and food.

Scumbag move to leave the toilets locked with a code. It's designed to only allow customers access, which I know is their right but is in bad faith to the community anyway. I planned on buying a coffee after I used the toilet but I couldn't open the door and it said vacant so I couldn't understand why. I've recently been having bladder problems that haven't been diagnosed yet so I ran to the toilet and didn't consider the possibility I'd need it unlocked for me. Whilst I was struggling to open the door I went unnoticed, perhaps I should have called for help but it didn't occur to me yet this was anything but a stuck door. Then I pissed myself through my trousers and onto the floor. The staff sort of ignored me without apologising. I sat down on a seat because I just wanted to be unnoticed and I know I shouldn't have because of my condition as it would spoil the seats. Eventually a staff member politely asked me to sit outside because there'd be customers sitting there. 1 star because such a toilet policy is hostile to the community and the staff deserve 2 stars, 1 star added for civility and politeness, the rest not given because they obviously aren't trained for the situation of someone desperate for the toilet.

My 15 year old daughter needed a toilet and staff wouldn't let her without buying something. Awful sense of community. Will make a point of going elsewhere when I'm next looking for a coffee.

I am very disappointed, I come today in the morning, I was really need a toilet, I am pregnant and the guy didn't let me to use it he told me I need to buy something, it's it really I couldn't believe it,I am working my self at Starbucks kingston we always letting is really need for people the guy wa so rude
