Whistling Goose - Kingston upon Hull

This is definitely the best Flaming Grill we've been to. The staff were friendly and courteous, the place was clean, and the food was of excellent quality. It was served exactly as we requested. If we find ourselves back in Hull, we will definitely come back. Thank you to the staff who were working the lunchtime shift on July 19, 2014.

I visited this restaurant on April 30, 2012, with my wife. The venue is spacious, offering plenty of seating and a nice bar area with a pool table. The food is served fairly quickly, and the staff are polite; however, service at the bar can be slow if there are several people waiting. The burgers and steaks are quite satisfactory, but my wife's steak and ale pie was disappointing—it resembled cat food and didn't taste very good either. Overall, if you're looking for a meal that’s affordable and arrives promptly, along with a few drinks, this place is a solid choice. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. It’s not bad!
