Peking Garden

The food at this restaurant was a complete disaster. The pork in black bean sauce was tough and difficult to chew, and the sauce was a strange mixture of clumpy and viscous at the bottom, and oily at the top. It was not edible. The service was also subpar, as the delivery driver made a rude comment about my phone not working when it was dropped off, even though I had not missed any calls. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

We typically have a great experience at this restaurant, but tonight all three of our meals were ruined by the prawns, which were truly awful. We only realized after eating some that they were bad. We are now concerned about getting food poisoning, especially since we are traveling tomorrow. This was very disappointing and has put us off from returning to our favorite Chinese restaurant.

The salt and pepper mix box was absolutely delicious and came in a generous portion. We went for pick-up and it was ready in just 10 minutes, but they only accepted cash. Even after ordering the box for two, we couldn't finish it all. We will definitely be ordering this again in the future.

Ordered online last minute really and thought it was maybe too late. Food delivered in less than 15 minutes and was excellent. Salt and pepper mixed box , mixed meat chop suey , curry sauce and free bag of prawn crackers delivered for £23. Definitely using again !! All food piping hot and easily enough to feed 4 people !!

Visiting family in hull who recommended this Chinese and have to say was not disappointed. All dishes where just lovely, arrived on time too, we will definitely be ordering again (Shame you can’t deliver to York) if not we would order weekly
