I visited when this first opened and once more after and it was fantastic, it had the barbecue grills along one wall with all the prepared meats and veg. However, recently or in the last year or so, it has list its way. The staff are slow to serve and the grill station has been removed. They have opened a fast food take out only a few shops down and I'm not keen on either. The food wasn't all that and I lived in Turkey for 7 years. We were so happy when it opened but won't visit again. Expensive for what it is. Shame.

Chips warm soggy and stuck together chicken strips burnt and kebab meat overcooked Best to be avoided

Where do I start, visited this week . Placed order only to be told couldn’t pay by card as no internet cash only . How could that possibly be no internet when you have just eat? No staff had any PPE on . All our kababs where rubbish, boiled white rice , isn’t that what comes with a Chinese ? got 3 different kababs and all 3 where horrid . Will not be returning.

I hate writing negative reviews but I’m genuinely shocked, I visited a few years ago and the food here was amazing, little tapas treats brought out to the table, friendly owner letting us all about the different foods they do, a real family feel. Unfortunately I decided to come back yesterday for my partners birthday and was so upset at the decline of this place , I was slightly embarrassed because I told him he’d love it. Music was so loud I thought I’d walked into a. Nightclub, we tried to put up with it but couldn’t chat whilst waiting for our meals sat with a drink from the bar, we looked at the menu to order and what my partner wanted wasn’t available, menu was already very limited possibly shortened do to eat out to help out scheme) waitress couldn’t understand us at all, in the end we just basically pointed to something on the menu, food was served quite quickly which is the only positive I can think of. We both ordered lamb kofte meals and have read review about the mushrooms been delicious so wanted to sample them too. Kebabs were cold, rice hard and undercooked, mushrooms just tasted like mushrooms no taste although they were in a sauce with halloumi . We left in a hurry and saved the night going to cinema and a game of pool. I know it’s tough for restaurants at the moment but please take back the reins to this once fantastic restaurant. I’ve posted a photo of what I couldn’t eat. So glad it was discounted as I would have been more upset.we were also approached by a couple outside who were sitting on the table near to us, they asked us what we thought of the food, was it as bad for us as them.

Went to Efes tapas restaurant. Not sure if the guy wearing a bow tie is the manager but he is rude and passive aggressive to other staff members. This is visual to anyone in the restaurant. No hand sanitizer available when going in the restaurant. Food disappointed, the food tasted okay but chicken pieces were small. The rice was just boiled rice I had expected traditional Turkish rice so that was disappointing. The bread was very very dry and didn’t come with any dips at all. Not a patch on how it used to be before it changed owners. Won’t rush back and wouldn’t have paid full price the blow was softened by the fact that it was eat out to help out.
