Xing Feng House - Kingston-upon-Hull

Excellent food! Everything was delicious and offered great value for money. I enjoyed the mushroom chow mein, vegetarian spring rolls, and egg fried rice—everything was very tasty, but the standout dish was definitely the salt and pepper. I ordered through Food Stroke, and the delivery was super quick (though that might have just been luck). This will certainly be our new go-to Chinese restaurant!

This is, without a doubt, the best Chinese takeaway I've ever had and certainly the best in Hull. I highly recommend it to family and friends. The food was fantastic, and the service surpassed my expectations. The lady at the counter was friendly and polite. P.S. Please consider adding Beijing sauce to the menu—it's exceptional!

We have been customers for years and have ordered us through food and directly and never had a problem with food. The meals we ordered were nice and the food was always hot. Some orders over the years are too late, but it is often the case when its weekend. Tonight I arranged to place an order and according to my address, the woman who said to me, ok, as long as no one is rude to the driver, it surprised me and I said that never someone has been rude because it is often me who takes the food and sometimes my Hsuband. I was so shocked and annoyed and told her they lost a loyal customer and put the phone down. Before you accuse someone, make sure you have the right details and facts!

The second best chinese takeaway I've ever tried. I won't name the best, it would be unfair to Xin Feng. Food is amazing, menu is varied, portions are decent. Food 5/5 Value 5/5 Service 2/5 I understand they can be busy, especially with COVID and lockdown making more people order rather than go out to eat. However, twice I have ordered (out of 5 times) and waited over TWO HOURS for delivery. Food was hot when delivered, but they initially said 50 minutes. That was extended to 1 hour 30 minutes, but it was well over two hours in reality. I'd prefer if they told me I'd be waiting two hours up front. Then I could make a decision to call another takeway or have a snack while we waited.
