Palate - Kingston

Went there on New Year's Eve, idk if they were short staffed but while the server Aliysha was very polite and understanding, the wait time for the meal was atrocious. We waited 1.5 hours to be served. I lost my appetite and made the order to go. The food was delicious when I eventually ate it. I ordered the Jerk Mushroom Stragonoff Fettuccine with Shrimp. As for the other person, he ordered the Snapper and it was a no for him. Cocktail blend drinks was lovely, Smooth Sensation for the win. If you get cold easily, depending on your table, you'll be a bit cold.

It was not a good Experience. We arrived on time but it took us one hour to get our meal. The entree we ordered never came…. For what we got it was too expensive. I am sorry but I feel you shoul be informed of this Regards Ida Gubert

The server Garvin was wonderful despite it being extremely busy he took to the time to ensure that we were always attended to. The head chef Volae came over to ensure that everything was okay The meal was impeccable

It's a good location to have a family meal. Ambiance- good and the waiter was patient and reassuring.

We visited palate for steak and wine night. We were quickly seated for our reservation. The waitress was pleasant and friendly. The appetiser steak tartare was excellent as well as the dessert. The steaks however were both over done. We ordered medium rare and my filet was mostly well and maybe medium in the centre. Ambiance was nice, as it usually is.
