Phnom-Penh Restaurant - Kingston

I used to quite like this restaurant but haven’t eaten here in a while. I ordered number 1 Phanaeng Kai, and it was sooo disappointing. Sauce had poor flavour, neither a rich peanut nor a good spicy curry. It was gloopy. There were three strips of chicken and nothing else. Honestly, Pat’s and Cambodiana restaurants are far far better.

Went there on Saturday, April 1st 2023 at around 7pm. Atmosphere was just the way we like it: quiet and peaceful. We had special #1 and special #4. I was amazed at how much protein was served, most restaurants skimp out on the protein. Slightly bland marinades, but that's great for the sodium conscious folks. Pricing was fair for what we got. Would go again!
