Grama's House Bakery & Cafe - Kingston

I've purchased a couple of things but to date, my fave is the peanut butter cookies! SO GOOD! And they make dog biscuits. He loves these treats. Friendly and homey feel. Recommended especially for road weary parents - very child friendly.

The butter tarts at this restaurant are truly delicious. I was disappointed to discover that the lemon squares were sold out when I arrived first thing in the morning, hoping for fresh baked treats. It turns out that everything was actually made the day before. Despite this, the shop is charming and I would still consider returning in the future.

Wonderful service. Most delicious Portuguese bread. Delicious lemon - blueberry loaf & tarts. Definitely recommended!

The best butter tarts in the city and the friendliest service in Kingston. A MUST try!!! I plan to return several times for lunch. I hear the chili is as good as the butter tarts. BTW won award for best butter tart

We had been on the road for hours... If I set foot in another Tims I would literally be ill. I plugged in restaurants close to our location and up popped this gem. What a welcomed relief... we had delicious sandwiches, chilli and saved room for some of her beautiful baking as well!!Go there. You won't be disappointed and it is awesome to support these small businesses. She literally is a Grandma ( a pretty cool one at that) and her lovely grandchildren have pictures all over the very quaint and cozy cafe. Will stop in again on or way through!!!
