Dox Restaurant & Lounge - Kingston

We decided to try the breakfast buffet at the hotel during our stay. It was convenient and efficiently prepared for us to enjoy.

After spending a few hours shopping on Princess Street, we decided to unwind with some cocktails and a snack at the DOX Restaurant in the Holiday Inn.

This restaurant has an amazing location with a beautiful courtyard that is perfect for sunny days. The fish tacos are some of the best I have ever had. The wine selection may not be the largest, but the service was friendly.

We had lunch on the patio with great weather and a nice view. You have to be patient with patio service which is cool. My daughter had wings and the carrot sticks were actually rotting (no, not soft or limp, rotting and slimy)My daughter advised me at the end of the meal (she didn't eat them) the server came back and said she told the kitchen and gave us two dollars off the meal (?) If someone is putting carrots that are obviously that bad what else are they overlooking. That said the rest of the meals were good.

We decided to eat breakfast...the usual, 2 eggs, bacon and homefries...here's the kicker, you pay extra for the coffee...that was the most expensive part of the breakfast. Ask if you're not sure... 40$ (with tip) for a measly breakfast is gouging in my opinion.
