Cajun On King - Kingston

Absolutely fantastic! The food was amazing and my Buddy and I ordered as much from the menu as we could. just to taste the different dishes. The burger must be the best burger I ever had in my life from every restaurant. The Jambalaya is excellent and the Cajun pulled pork poutine left me in a Homer Simpson moaning moment. Laura our server was helpful and welcoming ..she made our first time in the restaurant a fantastic one. The guys and girls in the kitchen have made perfection! Great! I'll return next week with friends for a group trip. I usually don't post over restaurants, but had to take this moment to say how impressed I am with Cajun on King and the staff are amazing! The atmosphere is good and the staff is friendly. We had the chicken dish with dumplings and catfish and rice. It wasn't bad! It's a good place for the first date when you ask me!

Beautiful ambience, great appetizers and drinks. We loved the shrimps and sweet potato cakes, their biscuits with butter, but were disappointed by Jambalaya, which should be called dirty rice. The fresh donuts for dessert were beautiful. Obviously they will change the menu soon, so we want to go back and try it.

My husband and l had dinner at Cajun on King last night and quite enjoyed the food we ordered. Is it authentic New Orleans style?, not really! However, it was tasty. Atmosphere is nice but our biggest disappointment was with the service! Absolutely terrible! Very short staffed for the number of customers. For that reason alone, we probably won't return.
