Purple Cow - Kingsport

The burger was perfectly crafted, well-seasoned (please keep that seasoning coming!), flavorful, moist, and well-balanced. It remains the best burger in the Tri-Cities. After being disappointed by Burger Bar and Bristol, I was relieved to discover that Purple Cow is still delivering an outstanding burger experience. Truly fantastic—thank you!

I used to visit this restaurant weekly for many years because the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. The quality of the food has declined significantly, and the prices have skyrocketed. Is $8 really the price for a standard double cheeseburger? That's outrageous. Plus, the texture of the meat was quite strange. I'm not sure what has happened to their hamburgers. If you're willing to pay a premium for subpar food and endure a wait of over 20 minutes, then feel free to check it out. Otherwise, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

I absolutely love Purple Cow, but I'm really disappointed with the recent changes to the fried pickles. We've been away this summer, so this was our first visit back, and I was eagerly anticipating enjoying what I used to think were the best fried pickles ever. However, it seems like the breading has been altered, and what I received this time was mostly breading with hardly any pickle. Why change something that was already so great?

I've been in three times now and I can say that the consistency is amazing. Everyone complains about the length of time service requires but I appreciate it because it means my food is fresh when I order it. The nice young lady who took my orders was great in her suggestion of which shake to try. I'll say this every chance I get to be up that direction I plan on stopping by to try something new on the menu. I might even try the intimidator one day .

I love your steak bombs! However I don't live in Kingsport, but when I do pass through I usually pick here for lunch or dinner. There is a huge difference in the food between lunch and dinner hours. My sub was so salty today I wasn't even able to eat it. Other than that small inconsistency this is still a great place to eat!
