Rosebery Martabak - Kingsford

Worst service ever. I've waited half hour for the food as promised. When the time passed, the rude lady screamed at us for waiting in front of their shop. What a disgrace to cast away at a loyal customer. Never again.

Order the original martabak with chocolate and cheese, you honestly will not regret it! So delicious!!!! I only like the sweet foods from here though

Rosebery Martabak is always my favourite. The martabak taste was so good and the price is also not that expensive.In my view, overall, I recommended this place because it is good value for money in terms of Martabak.Please remember to call them first to place your order so you don't need to wait too long to pick up your martabak. Just ordered original based martabak with chocolate, cheese and sesame, plus extra filling for all three.First, taste wise; not great at all because it's swimming in oil. Second, filling was not a lot considered I ordered and paid extra for it. Cannot even see the cheese. I was wondering whether they actually add extra filling or not. For the price I paid and the amount of filling, too pricey.Martabak shouldn't be oily. My childhood place in Jakarta makes good martabak, not oily and lots of fillings. Also, I recently moved from Melbourne and Nelayan Restaurant in Melbourne makes great martabak. Not oily too and their fillings are a lot. It's so good and you just can't stop eating.And for both, I don't have to pay extra for more fillings. It's standard.

Definitely one of the better tasting martabak places especially in Sydney. We actually prefer the original base with peanuts and cheese and ceres (chocolate) in comparison to the durian. Durian was ok but wasn't moreish like the other flavours. We always come to Rosebery Martabak after eating Indo in Kingsford (as the wait time is quite often long, we usually phone order it half way through lunch so that it is ready for pick up when we finish). Customer service is great and always friendly.
