Bidrage med feedbackDinner tonight, 2 couples. We had brisket, pulled pork, pork belly, sausage, baked potato, cornbread, potato salad (wish I had the recipe for it! , slaw, sausage and ribs. Excellent food and generous portions. Only complaint is the server had a bad odor, forgot the drinks and never came to fill water. Toilet paper was low in the bathroom and it was only 4:30.

Eddie and Q were the Best! And chef Ty was awesome! Everything was so tender and seasoned perfectly .I will definitely be
On the plus side....the brisket was really good. On the minus....the bartender had no clue how to make their signature cocktails from their cocktail menu that we ordered. Kept walking away from the bar and going in the back while he was making the first cocktail literally 4 5 times. (Restaurant had been open for about 4 hours at that point so if the bar wasn 't set up yet why not? Food arrived before the first cocktail was made. Made the 2nd cocktail and offered it up with no ice, no stirring, nothing. When ice was requested, walked away from the bar and disappeared into the back again. Brought out large ice cube that was requested (appropriate for a bourbon drink....especially at a place that has many bourbon offerings . Put on one glove and proceeded to use the not gloved hand to pry the ice cube out of the tray....and just plopped it straight in the drink (which hadn 't been iced, stirred, nothing to serve. Cocktails were, not surprisingly, not good. If no trained bartender is available to work, then a manager should have been behind the bar to work.
Stopped here unexpectedly after shopping on New Year's Eve. We ordered the St. Louis ribs platter, which comes with coleslaw and onion rings. My son had the 6 count rib with Mexican street corn as a side. We also ordered an ala carte side of collards greens. The pros: the bark and seasoning on the ribs, both of the sauces sweet or spicy the coleslaw was nice not too sweet or savory, the collards were a 10. Finished with the fried oreos, which had a light and fluffy batter on them. The ribs were a bit on the dry side, but the flavor was still good. My son didn't care for the corn. He said it was meh. They were out of their brisket burger, so we'll return to try it, plus they have multiple choices of mac n cheese, which we will try as well. Nice selection of bourbon, beers, and cocktails. Everyone there was friendly, and our server was terrific.
