California Pizza Kitchen King Of Prussia Priority Seating

Our experience was not what we've come to expect. We had to wait to be seated, which isn't something I'm usually accustomed to. The server appeared to be quite new. My salad didn't meet the usual quality I’ve come to enjoy from dining at this restaurant regularly. I even had to remind her about refilling our drinks, as it seemed to take quite a while. Overall, it was a disappointing visit.

We had a really disappointing experience. I hope it was just our luck. When we arrived and mentioned our open reservation, we were informed that the restaurant doesn't handle open table reservations very well. We were also told that waiting 45 minutes would be unfortunate, which was frustrating since this was my wife's choice for her birthday celebration.

This was my first and last visit to this restaurant. The server seemed eager to be everywhere except our table. They never checked in to see how our meal was or if we wanted another drink. The pizza was just okay, but the pepperoni was quite good. We had a small child with us and were never offered a children's menu or a high chair, which we ended up needing to provide ourselves.

Priority seating worked very well. Service was excellent. Portions good sized and my favorite Thai Chicken Pizza on whole week was very good as usual.

We've eaten at California pizza kitchen plenty of times but this is the second time in a row at this location where things went poorly. The salmon on my wife's Caesar salad arrived the first time so overcooked it wasn't edible, everyone's food took forever to come out, and my father's pizza was lukewarm. They remade the salmon and heated up the pizza but honestly you need to get it right the first time and not on just half the dishes. Clearly there was a problem in the kitchen that needs to be addressed.
