Bidrage med feedbackWe were staying in Upper Tysoe this weekend and made our way down to the Peacock Inn for a quick drink before heading up to the distillery in Shipston Upon Stour. Upon entering the lounge, which was very traditional and homely, we were met by Jules who was friendly and made us feel really welcome as did the locals who were already in there. We enquired about taxis in the area as we were having trouble getting anyone to come out to us. Everyone in the pub offered help and advice and Jules then offered to phone her friend Rob to see if he could help us with a lift. Rob was happy to both take us and bring us back. Not only were the drinks delicious and the atmosphere brilliant, it was the friendliness of everyone in this pub and those local to the area that really made a huge impact on us. Thank you Jules and Rob for your hospitality and help. We’ll definitely be back when we’re down that way again.

Closed at lunchtime on the hottest day of the year so far. No opening hours are displayed and no website to give details. Was looking forward to a beer after a ramble but alas.
Beautiful historic pub with great cask ales and a cozy fireplace that welcomes you warmly.
