The Funky Twig - Kimberling City

It's been almost a year since we last visited this restaurant, and we plan to return this year! The staff is fantastic, and the variety of ice cream flavors made us want to stop by every day during our trip! You should definitely start each day with a visit to this fun spot! We recommend it to everyone we know who visits Branson. We'll be making a detour just to go here whenever we can!

The ice cream here is absolutely delicious, and there are so many fun flavors to choose from, like fried corn, which is one of my favorites! It’s always a tough decision. We make a point to stop by whenever we're in the area. They also have the cutest ice cream cart available for rent for events!

In our search for the best ice cream shop in the Branson area, we visited The Funky Twig last night, and it definitely exceeded our expectations! This shop specializes in artisan ice cream flavors made in small batches, and it offers some of the most unique ice cream around. If you're like me and find it difficult to choose just one flavor, then the Funky Flight is a fantastic option. It allows you to sample six flavors of your choice, and I couldn't resist trying it! The ice cream looks stunning in the photo I took. I sampled the Malted Milk Ball (though I might have the name wrong), Key Lime Pie, S'mores, Double Vanilla, Roasted Corn, and Maple Bourbon Bacon. I loved every flavor, but I was particularly drawn to the toasted, buttery sweetness of the Roasted Corn and the delightful combination of salty and sweet in the Maple Bourbon Bacon. Even if you prefer more classic flavors, you'll definitely find plenty to enjoy. My daughter especially loved the Blueberry Sorbet. With so many excellent ice cream shops in the area, it's tough to pick a favorite, but I truly believe The Funky Twig deserves a top spot on anyone's list!
