Real Burger - Killorglin

Food is just ok. They don't have a lot of things to order. Burger was okay. Potato chips were so saggy. They don't have pizza, even though it's on the menu.

This restaurant deserves 5 stars for staying open after the bars close, allowing patrons to indulge in food and drinks even when they are heavily intoxicated. The owner is extremely tolerant and nonjudgmental, serving up delicious onion rings and chicken strips without hesitation. The atmosphere is simple and unpretentious, reminiscent of a friend's basement from your teenage years complete with a full kitchen serving up pizzas and fries. Despite the lack of frills, this place is a wild and unique gem that deserves recognition for its existence. The food may not be gourmet, but it is satisfying and perfect for those who find themselves in need of sustenance after a night of heavy drinking. This review is meant with the utmost positivity and appreciation for this one-of-a-kind establishment.

While this burger restaurant may not be under the original ownership, the food was satisfying and the serving of fries was plentiful. The interior seemed to have undergone a recent renovation.

The restaurant recently underwent new ownership in late 2023. Many of the photos and reviews you may come across are from the previous establishment. I have attached a picture of the updated menu. The food we sampled was of good quality. We opted for a burger and fries, which were satisfying.

Burgers were excellent.. top quality. Chips to die for and portions generous. We enjoyed their beef burgers and the spice bag.
