Taqueria Mexico Lindo #1 - Killeen

Very nice experience. I would like to thank first that they have feminine hygiene products free in their bathroom for those who might need it to have super ingenious. they have a good ceviche and steak tacos, which is what we have ordered. not sure about other dishes. everything came out pretty fast. really got a chance to eat the chips, but I guess that ended a good thing because the chips were really gritty. they have broken very easily. the atmosphere in this place is ok. they had a few tw and music and a car ride thru. I would come back and let it go again. her customer service was really good. I recommend trying this place.

The staff was very nice. The service was also fast even with the amount of people ordering. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. The horchata was good, unfortunately the burrito I ordered had no flavor. The salsa was also very bland. I will give this place another try some day soon in hopes that it was just a fluke.

Well hello everyone it has been a very long time since I posted a review, but I just could not pass up the opportunity to compare the Menudo from these Mexican Restaurants. Today I went to Taqueria Mexico Lindo 1 for some menudo for the very first time. I am used to buying menudo with large chunks of meat that is extremely flavorful. However, when I went to Taqueria Mexico Lindo I ordered (2) two large menudo' with extra meat and I was charged extra for the meat. But when I received my order and got back home, the meat was cut into very small pieces and the menudo had absolutely no flavor. It looked like water with menudo in it. So I went to the Taqueria restaurant on West Stan Schlueter Loop and ordered a very flavorful menudo with large chunks of meat. The only problem that I have with the Taqueria restaurant on West Stan Schlueter is that they charge you extra if you pay with your debit or credit card, but they will not give you this information when you order at the window and they will not give you your total when you place your order at the window. I will do a separate review on them because I think that everyone should know what is going on with these restaurants. Now with all that said, I am going to post two pictures of the menudo that I purchased from both restaurants. The first photo is the one from Taqueria Mexico Lindo 1 and the second photo is from the Taqueria Restaurant on West Stan Schlueter Loop. You can clearly see the vast differences.

The food is good. However I was worried that kitchen was unclean seeing the restaurant looked filthy. Also we ordered a taco, with cheese and we were brought cold cheese on the side. After asking the waitress to take it back to melt cheese, it still came back cold. The owners should take a little extra money to remodel and do some deep cleaning. This place looks pretty dirty!

Normally the food and service is good. However, this time they messed up the order by giving us the wrong plate. Sent us home with this bean mess. Had us bring the plate which was wrong back, because they didn 't believe us. With the reasoning of, sometimes people want free food. We ordered an paid for $58.70 with no issues when checking out. We didn 't want free food. We just wanted what we ordered. Sad to say after almost 10 years of enjoying the food from this place. We will no longer order from here.
