I recently came back to Meath after a wonderful week in Dunmore East. We stayed at Harbour Village and rented a house, enjoying almost tropical weather for 5 out of 7 days. The food at East Pier was incredibly fresh and delicious, with a variety of options on the menu. The fish was particularly succulent and paired perfectly with the best chips I've ever had. We tried the rib eye steak burgers one evening and the scampi and fish of the day on another, and both were incredibly tasty. Sitting outdoors in the beautiful weather was a great experience, and the owner was welcoming, friendly, and a lot of fun. Before we left, we also visited her fish shop and are excited to come back during the summer to try the oysters and more delicious chips. If you happen to be in Dunmore East, make sure to visit East Pier and enjoy a fantastic meal just like we did. Thank you!

The atmosphere is pleasant, with stunning views of the harbor. Definitely a place worth checking out for a delicious meal!

I have heard a lot of buzz about this restaurant, but I found it to be overrated and overpriced. The menu options were quite limited. However, the restaurant did have a very clean restroom, which is a plus for those ordering takeout.

My wife and I always make a point to visit the East Pier whenever we are in Dunmore East from Kilkenny. The fish is consistently fresh and delicious, with a crispy batter and perfectly cooked chips. The beef burger is also fantastic, made with locally sourced ribeye steak that is perfectly seasoned. The portion sizes are generous.
