I spent two nights in Rafters as part of a stag weekend and everyone had a great experience. From accommodation, food, drinks and a great central location, Rafters was the perfect spot for our group. Many thanks to Gerry and his team for their courtesy and service throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend.

Rafters was a brilliant experience from start to finish! Came here on a hen party with 24 ladies just before Christmas and the food and drink was fab!! excellent service. Gerry went above and beyond with a lovely touch giving complimentary desserts to girls who were celebrating birthdays on the same weekend!! Definitely be back! Thanks a million!

Rafters is a great place to stay! Super clean very centrally located. We had a wonderful time with the owner he was extremely helpful on tips and tricks for the area! Totally recommend!

Pros: Right in downtown Kilkenny so great to walk and access anywhere in city! Included in the price is a full hot breakfast. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Cons: The bathroom had some issues- the sink did not turn on, the water in shower was cold, toilet was broken. While the room was clean and tidy, the sheets and comforters were dirty.
