Bidrage med feedbackWent for lunch here on one of our days that was a sunny summer day ordered Chicken coujouns X 3 and water for hydration sat outside the staff were ran off their feet but they were efficient friendly and very professional and it was a great experience overall
Our first evening visit. The menu was varied, the staff were warm, friendly qnd smiling. Not a bad start. The food was fresh and tasty, nicely cooked and well presented. This is a small place, in a small village, on the western most part of the Sheep’s Head peninsula, Newfoundland just over the horizon. The srrvice is unhurried but not slow, the ambience is nice. We will return.
Definitely recommend stopping by this restaurant on your way to the old Sheeps Head Peninsula. The coffee was excellent, the cakes were generous, and the service was top-notch. Well worth a visit!
We were a group of three for dinner and while the appetizers and desserts were fine, two out of the three main courses did not meet the expected standard for the price. Both the swordfish and chicken dishes were overcooked and dry, which greatly impacted our enjoyment of the meal. The staff and facilities were pleasant and friendly, but unfortunately, the overall experience was compromised by the subpar cooking.
We arrived at 9:36pm after being drawn in by the fantastic live music at The Tin Pub nearby. The staff welcomed us warmly, despite the late hour. We ordered a dish that could be prepared quickly so we could eat promptly. Not only were we served promptly, but the food was amazing! The cod was cooked to perfection, accompanied by delicious sides and topped with delicately cooked mussels. It was delicious. Thank you so much for a wonderful dining experience!
