Izakaya Matsu LLC - Kīhei

This was easily one of the best places to eat during our trip. We went back THREE times last week. Everything on the menu was a hit: gyu don, raw octopus, chicken katsu curry, bao buns, karaage, poke, cold tofu, everything!We enjoyed each meal there. The owner and staff were super friendly and warm. The vibe of the place is great. We loved the vintage posters, music, and the animal videos playing on the screen. Overall a cozy vibe and each dish felt like a warm hug.Thanks for a great experience, it made our trip to Maui memorable!

A definite must try if you are in the area. Service was very quick and super feiendly!! We tried the Bao, Karaage, Takowasabi, Ramen, Softshell Crab, Pork Katsu Don and Katsu Curry Rice and ALL of it was super delicious!! EnjoyFood: 5/5

We went on a Friday night and waited about 25 minutes for a table for our party of 6. Service was fantastic, food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered! Pictured are takoyaki (one of 8 served) katsu don (pork).Food: 5/5

Got their katsu curry, and their katsu was very crispy and thick. Their bao buns were also very delicious!Servers were very friendly and welcoming, would truly recommend here for good Japanese food!
