Coconut's Fish Cafe - Kīhei

Yes, the fish tacos were just as incredible as the other reviews mentioned! The mango slaw was delicious, and the fish was incredibly tender. The BBQ sauce on the Kalua tacos was also fantastic. We returned a few days later to try the coconut shrimp. The flesh was delicate and you could see the coconut in the crispy batter. It was fantastic!

This restaurant offers fantastic, fresh seafood at a very affordable price. It attracts both locals and tourists with its quick service and clean atmosphere. We tried the fish and chips and the fish tacos, both of which were delicious!

We visited this restaurant for lunch one day and decided to return for dinner the next. The fish tacos were delicious and packed with so many toppings that they were difficult to hold together, in a good way. One suggestion to make them even better would be to offer a spicy hot sauce. We both appreciated the precautions taken for COVID-19. The tables were spaced out nicely and guests were asked to leave their napkins, utensils, and seasonings on the table when finished, likely so that the staff could properly sanitize.

We came here specifically for the fish tacos, they were kind of a farewell. the maistortillas were not great and there was not much fish on them, mostly cauliflower. the mango upstairs was delicious, but overall not much taste.

This place is in Kihei and close to Wailea for food. Ate there for 2 different dinners for take out: Items ordered night 1: Mahi grilled over rice x2 Kalua pork over rice Chicken Alfredo Everybody thought their food was pretty good that night. Next night Mahi grilled over rice Fish and chips x 2 Grilled chicken salad with a pineapple vinaigrette Fish and chips were overcooked and the fish was tough and not flaky Mahi was good Chicken salad was good Overall- if you are looking for well prepared non fried fish this is good If you are looking for Fish and Chips there are better out there in the area….
