Amigo's Authentic Mexican - Kīhei

This is a fantastic restaurant offering genuine Mexican cuisine at reasonable prices. The salsa is homemade, along with all the traditional sauces. They serve excellent breakfast specials starting at 8:00 AM, with a great deal priced at just $8.99!

I wouldn't recommend eating here again. The staff seemed unhappy, and the value for the price is not worth it. The $15 burrito looked more like a taco. I believe the undisclosed fees are unethical, and I plan to file a complaint with the DCCA about this practice. This is not the kind of local business I want to support.

Interior: 12:45 Sunday afternoon was not busy. My wife and I had Burritos with rice and beans, but I don't have rice and beans again. Our two Burritos were hot in the middle. My wife was cool in the end and mine was cool on one side. Both had good taste, but overall disappointing, because it needed a few minutes in the microwave. I grew up in SoCal, so I know good salsa and it wasn't here. Service and atmosphere good enough. No problem. I would say that 2.5 overall, but not a 3.

Super delicious food and very accommodating for our larger group. We had nine of us showing up and they brought us in ten minutes. The Fajitas were really good, and everyone in our group enjoyed their food.

The doorman was incredibly friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately, the waitress was not as pleasant; she didn't even offer a smile. I visited with three friends on June 25, 2022, for lunch. I found nothing suitable to eat on the menu, so I went across the street to get a salad. I wanted to sit down and enjoy my meal with my friends, but I was told I couldn't bring outside food into the restaurant. I understand the policy, but considering that three of my friends were ordering food and I was getting a drink, it seems reasonable to allow a healthy salad in. It would be great if they could offer more healthy, fresh, and vegan-friendly options on their menu as well, including dressings like balsamic vinegar without added sugar.
