The Turnpike - Kidlington

We came as a family of four the whole experience was great, the only thing I could fault was only one vegan cooked meal, as my daughter is vegan.

Pretty good as usual but when we arrived we were told we could sit anywhere as it was empty, only to be told to sit somewhere else as we selected a table. Odd.

We were disappointed when the specials menu was brusquely taken from our table a with the explanation that it was sold out but delighted when our waitress persupersupersuaded the chef to prepare the meals we had already chosen from it . A splendid meal and enjoyable evening!

Visited several times previously, very disappointed on this occasion as service was very slow and very poor. Left after almost 2 hours having not had time for pudding

The service was very good with welcoming staff that looked after us well. The food was well presented and well cooked, I would happily recomend the Turnpike to others.
