The Royal Sun - Kidlington

That's a nice pub now. was just there, unfortunately they lost their chef. so are not currently eating. we have in the village for 7 1/2 years. we were there in the last 6 months more than in the last 7 years. the new renters are beautiful and welcoming. this beautiful local pub

Arrived at the above place, been a few Years since i was last on site... Met Jonathan, owner, i explained who i was and there to do, the guy was an absolute legend, very patient with us, unfortunately he said he wasn't too impressed with the services not been carried out in a while, so i reassured him what we do and what i did.. I contacted Initial because he had a problem, and its been dealt with accordinly.. The food was sublime. My half-duck with courgettes, potato with cheese and vegetables had a superb taste and texture to it. My partner's likewise, who chose slow cooked BBQ ribs, found that the meat simply came off the bone, and was tender to the touch. A nice little place for anyone passing by.

I recently visited Oxford and discovered this little gem on the road in Begbroke. It looked very charming and welcoming from the outside, and it was even better when we stepped inside! The atmosphere was lovely, and they had a fantastic selection of gins. We had a bite to eat, which was delicious, and the owners were extremely inviting. The following day, we returned on Saturday, but the pub was closed for a private event that appeared to be quite a large celebration. We can't wait to visit again and highly recommend it!

The only feedback I have is regarding the children's meal: my two sons received a small sausage, which they loved, but they mentioned they would have appreciated a little more. We would have happily paid a small extra fee for additional portions. Additionally, the fries that came with the burgers were quite greasy, but they tasted amazing, so it wasn't really a downside. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and found it to be much better than the local competition. Thank you for a great experience—we'll definitely be back soon!
