The Stoned Crab - Key West

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. we had cocos yarns and frit as app and they were delicious. I had the cold plate and the garnel and crawling were great. I could have eaten a plate of only the garnel, they were the best I had. two people in our party ordered the steamed plates. one of the old bays and the other of the fisher, the fish was ordered with garlic butter and she said it was good, but needed a little more taste, she asked for a little old bay and she said it was great. very recommended here. by the way, our waitress bianca and she was amazing

My wife and I wanted to try something local when visiting key west, so we came to the stoned crab. first everything is crab, lobster and garnel fresh, and I mean, caught this day by local fish fresh. also I can't speak for the entire personal, but greysea (her writing) was an amazing and energetic server that really made the meal and experience fun. the prices may be somewhat higher than some are used, but if they get the steamer they will not get after home hungry. the only part was the steak. I had to send it back twice and it wasn't right for the third time. the manager did his best to fix it, and overall this was still an amazing meal. sitting places outdoors and not long wait for eating.

Wow! that is the first thing that comes from my mouth when I think of this place. eating is amazing and makes her mouth water. the steamers are big enough for 2 people! they give them so much food and it is amazing! our waiter was attentive, has refilled all necessary drinks and checked for us and all his tables regularly. the atmosphere was fun and welcoming. they had fish and a shark that could be seen from the harbour. it was cool.

Excellent eating. fresh, fast, very comfortable atmosphere and super cool staff. my dog was allowed to sit at my feet and they even brought him a cup of water. the conch fritters are the best we had, and we live here in florida. Drinks are a little expensive compared to some similar restaurants, but if they go the property, they can see that they are the extra back into the place, beautiful! highly recommended.

Yummy! I stopped in on a much needed day off. As a local, I don’t get out much for lunch due to work. It was so awesome. I sat by the pool, in the shade. I had grouper fritters, blackened shrimp tacos, and my friend had the thousand island salad. She didn’t love peeling the shrimp…but what else is ther to do while drinking? Peel that shrimp.
