Antonia's - Key West

The food is incredible and extremely fresh. It's the closest experience you'll find to authentic Italian cuisine.

While strolling down Duval Street, we discovered Antonia's and were fortunate enough to be seated at a fantastic window table, despite not having a reservation. Having just returned from Venice, Italy, I felt transported back to that beautiful city—minus the jet lag and airfare, of course! The entrées were absolutely incredible, so come with a hearty appetite because you won't be disappointed! Our server, Brandon, was highly professional and provided excellent recommendations for both entrées and wine. And don’t miss out on the desserts—they are absolutely heavenly!

The food was absolutely amazing! We were thrilled to discover a restaurant with air conditioning in Key West, as it can be quite challenging to eat in the heat. We relished every dish and appetizer we tried. The drinks were strong but perfectly balanced. The interior was stylishly decorated, comfortable, and new. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Key West!

We spent the next 15 minutes trying to get Dean's attention. When he finally came over, he had the audacity to ask if we were ready for dessert, despite my wife having only taken a few bites of her dish, which had been in front of her the whole time. I had finished my soup, which I liked, but Dean was already aware of my wife's dissatisfaction and still made no effort to resolve it. Frustrated, I requested the check. We paid and tipped Dean 20%. Having worked as a waiter myself, I understand that food issues typically arise from the kitchen, not the server. However, Dean should have made more of an effort to ensure we were satisfied. I'm okay with paying for the food we consume, but it was disappointing that we barely touched our meals yet still had to pay full price. We had been recommended this restaurant during our visit from out of town, and this experience was a letdown.

The decor is lovely, and the presence of white tablecloths is a nice touch. Initially, the service was quite slow, but it picked up after our drink order was taken. The food is outstanding! There's a great selection that caters to various tastes, and the specials were particularly impressive. With not many diners around, the spacing between tables was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and I encourage you to dress nicely—it's a fine dining experience.
