Time and time again this spot holds up. Great food, great people working. Lomo Saltado is perfection.

Place is clean and food is decent but the prices are a bit steep for the quality. We order the papas a la Huanchaina, man, it was just bad. Ive had this dish made by other restaurants and family but when I ate it here, my taste buds were confused. I couldnt eat it but my friend added green sauce to it and she said it was okay but also confusing. I ordered the pernil with rice and beans, what a treat! I added their garlic sauce to it and it just brought out even more favor. I wish I knew the receipt to the garlic sauce oofff. My friend got the vegi chaufa, she liked it but there was a massive amount of cooked carrots. Like sliced, and placed on the side....odd. Environment is a bit dark and you can hear everyones convos but we came at a weird time so maybe it was just that.

Still the best chicken noodle soup around. Sick or not, the best! Update 11/19/23 Well, yes, it has changed but not the soup. The soup was always great there. I 'm doing a detox that 's calls for half a cup of beans a day so I got some sides of beans and also boiled casava . It is posted like that in Spanish yuca hervida . Well, they stick to the letter for that casava I bought tonite is barely boiled. Really not cooked at all. I had to finish the cooking process in a microwave. But, what if someone bought that and had no access to any appliance to finish the cooking process that should have happened in the restaurant kitchen??? I know my purchase was modest, but still, the whole casava order was raw, not one piece or two. How can a restaurant sell raw casava? I 'll go back when I can eat normally again, and give them another chance cuz I know they used to be better than this. Way better than this.

We've been coming here for 17 years. The food is always good, service is great and they really have the best sangria!! What puts everything over the edge is how they treat everyone like family.

Some of the food was ok but others were a bit bland. Ceviche was ok. Fish fillet was very good but salmon was bland. Tallarin Verde was also good just arrived cold.
