In a very convenient location, but requires pay and display when using the car park (this is refundable when you spend more than £5 in store). A number of electric car rapid charge points that are debit card controlled. These are however a little confusing to use compared to Booths in Windermere. Still great to have available. The supermarket is extensive with great produce and friendly staff.
Large, comprehensive supermarket, a bit like a Waitrose, with lots of local produce and gifts alongside the usual products. The fresh fruit and produce was very good. It was busy when we visited (17.00 on a weekday), but there were plenty of staffed checkouts and self-serve points so queues were short. It 's right next to the bus stops so perfect for a quick shop before returning to your campsite or lodgings. Sensible prices given it 's not a 'budget ' supermarket.
I love Booths in Keswick, but then we would as we're visitors not locals, I could never afford to shop there normally but for holidaymakers it's a joy. They know who they're catering to and shelves are stocked accordingly, the ale aisle being my favourite as its so we'll stocked and has offers too.
Excellent café with great facilities! We ordered hot food, which took a bit of time—about 25 minutes—but it was very tasty and served hot. Just a heads-up for anyone short on time at the parking lot. I would definitely recommend it!
