Evdemon - Kerkyra

We randomly found this place looking for a restaurant in Afionas where we could have a nice dinner and a view of the sunset. We chose it because of the commentaries that if has and it was definitely a good choice. Just as someone else said before, it feels like being at a friends’ house. The menu is short, but the products are local and you can tell it by the flavour. The service was quick and they treated us very kindly, so it made us feel really confort. And the view of the Sunset from there is just astonishingly beautiful. We liked it so much the first time, that we booked another table two days later. The second time they reserved us the table with the best sight, it was a lovely detail. Both experiences were perfect. Both, Giannis and Elia were nice with all their guests, including us, and you can tell that because most of them were people who seemed usual customers. You should book a table before going, because there are a few of them and I think they calculate the amount of fresh food that they have available that day, that’s why the menu can change a daily. We arrived at 8:20 pm and the owner said that the kitchen was already closed even though he stated that the restaurant is open until 11:00 pm. Service: 1

The worst experience ever. I have been to many countries, nowhere have I been treated like this. we arrived at the restaurant, they had 5 free tables and they refused to receive us, invoking the fact that the chef has calculated the portions . I asked if we could serve a coffee, we were not allowed. I was here for the good reviews from Google Maps but I personally do not recommend this restaurant, the kindness of the staff does not exist and I think access is based on ethnic criteria, otherwise I cannot explain their racism. It is the best place on the island. Literally. The place itself does not scream for itself if you just walk past, so I hope someone takes recommendations seriously. There is no fixed menu! But don't worry about it. From what you can choose will probably be the best of what you choose. Always. Stunning sunset, warm staff, delicious Greek wine and food... so the food. The food was so good that there is no word to describe it. Fresh, seasonal, perfectly seasoned. I don't even like fish, but the sea bass from here was very delicious, I don't know how they did it. Probably all happened there, fresh as you really need to have time to get this place to max. 1 hour is a minute until they bring the good to you. But! Even simple salad was the best salad in my life... you have to check it! 10/10 especially when you are fed with the random flyers who claim the original Greek food!
