The Pear Tree Kerikeri

This restaurant is amazing! The Marsala eggs and curry shrimp were incredibly flavorful, we couldn't stop stealing bites from each other's plates. Definitely worth the extra drive.

The Pear Tree is a picturesque restaurant situated in a stunning location where guests can enjoy sitting on the lawns under the shade of a tree and admire the natural beauty of the lake. Unfortunately, the service was lacking as we were rudely told to order for ourselves if we sat outside. Considering the prices, we expected table service. Additionally, the food was disappointing. My salmon benedict was too salty and I was unable to finish it. It was quite disappointing after reading all the positive reviews. However, there is definitely room for improvement and potential to enhance the overall dining experience.

The fish and chips were sensational. Crispy batter and chips. All piping hot. Fish cooked to perfection. Service was very professional. Good value....

Overpriced, especially the big breakfast, over salted dry scrambled egg on a 2 inch square piece of bread, the menu said toast, was that it ? 1...
