San Wok Express - Kent

It's a quiet take out only spot that has amazing owners. We only eat Chinese from here because we love them so much. They remember things about you. Oh, food is CONSISTENTLY good!

I just began renting nearby and wanted to try food from local places so I ordered online for in store pickup. Not only was the food ready quicker than the ETA I originally got from the website, but the folks in the shop were so incredibly friendly when me and my roommate walked in to pickup! The front window was full of beautiful greenery and the man at the counter greeted us right away and cheerfully handed us our bags. I asked him if he knew what the big plant in the window was called and he stepped into the back and brought out an older gentleman who explained the name of the plant and showed me some others in the shop that were the same kind but smaller. The interaction was so nice it made my whole day, my whole week probably. And then when we got home to eat, the food was absolutely stellar! Portions were big with lots of meat and sauce, they didn't skimp on rice or anything else. They also gave us a good handful of fortune cookies in the bag Absolute gem of a restaurant, I plan to order often and hope that even if I don't stay in the area I'll be able to keep coming back for years.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in our local area! Seriously good food...and even better service. The folks that work here are always very kind and cheerful...picking up our food is always a great start to an amazing meal. Highly recommend the Singapore Noodles and hot and sour soup!! San Wok is truly a gem in Kent!

Great food! The front desk person was also very nice. Beef Broccoli+ the house fried rice were my favorite items

Love this place. Dishes are on the pricey side but you get a ton of food. Everything is delicious. The owner/operator is absolutely delightful Wish they'd do dine in, at least on the weekends but in the end I totally recommend!
