Bidrage med feedbackI had a disappointing experience at the Members restaurant at Benugo in the V&A. The menu selection was poor, the portions were small, and the prices were expensive. I have had better experiences at other Benugo locations, such as at Peter Jones in Sloane Square. In the future, I will stick to the ground floor cafe at the V&A instead.
This restaurant is a stunning spot to relax after exploring the museum. You can listen to live piano music while enjoying delicious scones, which were the best I've ever tasted. They also offer a tasty apple crumble dessert. The atmosphere is perfect for a leisurely meal.
The tomato soup and scone were fantastic, served in a beautiful setting. The only downside was the small amount of clotted cream provided with the large scone, although they did give more when asked. They should consider offering a larger portion of clotted cream initially given the price.
Went there to have something hot to eat for lunch, though there was no hot meal on offer which would cater for my dietary requierement being lactose free. The only main meal on offer was falafel salad. Sorry, but this isn't acceptable.
Each time we come to London we make the point to go for tea at the V&A museum. The scones , pastries and sandwiches are also very consistent and taste very good . Thank you
