Manny's Pizza Sub Shop - Kensington

I've been here several times for the cheesesteak sub, and in previous visits, the subs and onion rings were decent. However, on this visit, we ordered our usual subs along with a large fries for $4.75, and we were disappointed with the small portion size—it certainly didn't feel like a "large" for almost $5! Unfortunately, the subs were not good this time either. It may be time to look for another sub shop.

My family and I dined here on Friday, June 4th, and everything was incredibly fresh. My wife ordered a salad, which she found to be wonderfully fresh-tasting. Our 5-year-old enjoyed the chicken strips, which were remarkably tender—I had to sneak a bite! My middle son and I both chose the steak sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. The garlic bread that accompanied the chicken was the perfect touch. Our oldest had the pizza, and it did not disappoint. Manny’s was definitely a winner, and the service was excellent as well. The staff was very helpful with everything we ordered.

Great location, very clean environment and food was delicious. Great servings and first class service. Staff are welcoming and food is prepared on time. Ingredients are fresh to a very affordable price mark. Must come and try.

This food was exceptional for a small, unassuming restaurant! A straightforward order of fries and pizza completely blew me away. The staff, especially the managers, made us feel very comfortable and at home. I would definitely recommend this place and give it a full 5 stars!

Amazing food! The guys working were friendly. Great little place. will definitely eat here again if ever back in DC!
