Da-Mamma's Kitchen - Kensington

PEI is much more of a seafood place, so Da Mamma's stands out as an excellent place for a burger cooked to order. Easy to drive by this little food truck, but turn around if you do. You won't regret stopping.

A good selection of varied items. My husband had fries with the works and was very pleased. I had a hamburger and it was average. Good kids menu.

I ordered the loaded french fries that boasted fresh frozen fries made from PEI potatoes. However, I was disappointed to find that the hamburger was reheated and topped with canned peas and mushrooms, with no salt in the gravy. Overall, the dish was terrible.

The homemade food at this restaurant is delicious. There is nothing to dislike about it, however, it closes early at 6:30 on Friday nights, which may seem a bit strange.
