Bidrage med feedbackI came home from the airport late at night and wanted to eat. The place was so down to earth and the food was great . I was able to smoke and drink an ice cold tap beers. Had to drop it down to a 3 . It's a hit or miss, I went back Friday night and it was closed, then went back Saturday night and got the ribeye poboy, asked for med cooked. After I asked the cook what's the best way to have it cooked, he likes med-rear to medium so I knew I was in good hands, but something happened prior to my arrival so he was a bit distracted. I got med to med-well done. Order fries that was so greasy I had to put them on a napkin and wipe my plate of the extra grease. And he didn't season the fries, but did the potato salad which is delicious I highly recommend it. I won't say not to go, cause I would go back just know what not to get.
The older gentleman that made my margarita made it perfectly. When they switched shifts the girl made me another and it was horrible way too much alcohol , a drink only needs an oz. Or ounce and a half of alcohol no more , no less otherwise you ruin the cocktail. I couldn't even finish it. The food was cooked great. It would have tasted better if it wasn't served with the heavy smell of cigarettes. If I wanted to eat from an ash tray I would go lick one.
The bartender Britany and cook Alex were AMAZING!!!!! I have been here a few times over the past 15 years and today’s visit was by far the best! My wife and I try and stop here every time we visit New Orleans and today’s visit has topped them all because of Britany and Alex. They were both very attentive and friendly with everyone’s needs and requests.
When you talk to the cook, you see the passion he has for his job. Amazing food, awesome friendly people. I've been there twice and will continue to go anytime I am in town.
Great Dive bar environment and the food is consistently amazing. And it's consistent. Always look forward to my visit to get wings.
