Sonic Drive-in - Kenner

Visited new orleans and had a hotel room for the weeks and visited this sonic on that Friday when I came to the city, they told me that it would be 17 minutes before they took more notices there about 15 minutes, and they had not yet taken my order, and when I asked and coworkers a man came over the loudspeaker and said that they were closed so that I was back

Waited for over 5 minutes to answer someone. then it was said that it would be 17 minutes before they could resume ordering. we started to notice with other vehicles that came after us ordering. the lady had turned off our red button. now, another long extended wait until someone answer the red button. very disappointing!

They were VERY busy because it was raining but the servers were great!

This is not my Usual SONIC location but I came here before my appointment in the New Orleans area. I was a bit scared using my mobile app because I did not see it pop up on the screen. Sometimes the mobile app is faster and sometimes it's much much slower. In this instant it was nice and perfect to use at this location. I order a small mozzarella sticks with a pretzel twist. The lady who came out to give me my food was so sweet and also had extra cheese and marinara sauce waiting for me, without even having to ask. This location is clean and nice. I also came on a beautiful day and people were sitting outside which was nice. I also got 6 cheese sticks instead of 4, which was a great surprise!! All hot and fresh!!

Location was extremely packed but it didn't help that almost half of the spaces were taped off with caution tape. Had a very long wait. Pushed the button to place order and waited til it cut itself off and no one ever answered. My husband went to the door and someone finally took our order. It didn't take long to get our order, so not sure was going on.
