Bidrage med feedbackI ordered through Uber Eats. Butter chicken was undercooked and had a smell. Chicken tikka masala had NO cream and tomatoes. Instead, it was a very oily salan shorba. Chicken was also undercooked. Waste of money and not authentic desi food!Food: 1/5
Taste is great for native food of Pakistani origin. Staff is courteous and polite. We tried mint lassi which was served in big traditional glasses and samosa chat was spicier than what I expected. All in all great experience but space is open and can have improved outlook.Kid-friendliness: Staff is courteous and friendly with kids.Dietary restrictions: Zabiha Halal food is served.
I haven't ordered anything recently, but this is my regular spot when I'm in town. I was born in Texas, Louisiana raised, half white half Pakistani, and while I reside in TX I regularly come back to visit family, and this place is a non negotiable stop. Unfortunately this trip I had to skip it and go to a different desi food place in Metairie and it didn't even compare. I always get either biriyani or beef nihari here and I have yet to be disappointed everything is seasoned and cooked to perfection every time and I always leave happy. The mango lassi is also amazing. All very authentic south asian food, along with authentic south asian customer service. The owners are incredibly sweet and friendly and I love making conversation with them when I'm waiting on my food. So sad I missed it this run! But can't recommend this place enough
The best Indian curries in NOLA. Weekend aloo poori breakfast and karahi chicken were really good. Plus the owner is really a nice host and helped us with the knowledge about thw places to visit.
Just a little hole in the wall place, that secretly has the best food in town. I had the goat curry and it was the best I 've ever had. At first, since it had bones, I was going to ask for a knife, but then I realized it was so tender, I had no need of it. Food: 5/5
