Bidrage med feedbackMy husband for his bday today wanted to go to Mr. Eds. They are usually excellent. They had plenty staff there was no wait for a table......BUT for almost $70 (1 appetizer, 2 dinners 2 ice teas), the Fried food was over cooked, the steamed mixed veggieslooked as if they came right out a frozen bag no flavor, ordered fries got potato salad, ordered seafood platter wasn't toldthey were out of oysters, told the waiter 3 times no parsley sprinkled on the food ALL of the dishes came with parsley allover it. We love this place im so sad, it was a special nite for my husbands bday it didn't go well. Hope they can get ittogether.
A local and busy favorite. A very diverse menu with seafood, pork, and a variety of other dishes. It's a very busy place, but we got in right in time to get a table for five rather quickly. They seemed very short-handed, which is the norm these days. Ourwaitress, Michelle, managed to provide a good service in between serving multiple tables, talking orders, serving drinks andfood, and even buying her own tables!
My only complaint is how unfortunate it is that I just discovered this restaurant. I can't help but think of all the meals that could have been more delightful in the past. I highly recommend it!
I had never been to this location before, so I decided to stop by for a spontaneous dinner, and I was not disappointed. The hostess welcomed us as soon as we walked in and promptly seated us. Our waitress came over in a timely manner, and when we asked for her recommendations, she provided great suggestions. We ended up trying the crawfish dip and sharing the fried chicken. Both dishes were tasty, and I would definitely order them again.
I was working in Kenner and looking for a lunch spot when I discovered Mr. Ed's. I tried the lima beans with shrimp, fried pork chops with cornbread, sweet tea, and crawfish spinach dip. Everything was fantastic! The lima beans were perfectly seasoned, and the pork chop was incredibly tender with just the right amount of breading. And the cornbread? It deserves its own spotlight—it was that good! I will definitely be coming back!
