Gendusa's - Kenner

Wow, this restaurant is just fantastic! It’s a charming and romantic spot located in a lovely village. The food is incredible, and Peyton is by far the best waiter we've ever had! The desserts are absolutely divine. We celebrated our 36th anniversary there last week, and it was perfect!

I could eat their eggplant lasagna every day! Gendusa's is very popular, which means it often gets quite busy. I suggest calling ahead to reserve a table or choosing takeout instead. I'm generally not a fan of sweets or chocolate, but I couldn’t resist bringing home a slice of chocolate cake, and I ended up devouring it in the middle of the night.

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend who lives nearby, and I had a wonderful lunch experience. The salad and both main dishes were expertly prepared and served piping hot from the oven. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and visited our table just the right number of times, offering help without being intrusive. The lovely riverside location also enhances the enjoyable atmosphere, making it a great spot for a nice walk afterward.

Our waitress did an excellent job accommodating our group of 16. We had our own private room, and the food was outstanding, as always! We absolutely love Gendusas!
