Gigi's Cucina Povera - Kenmore

Went there for dinner and was pleasantly impressed. Rack of lamb I had was cooked just liked I asked. All the food was delicious. Definitely would recommend them for a nice quiet evening. Service was great.

First last time here. My boys I wanted some Italian for dinner tonight. We went to Frank's Sunny Italy the diner is closed, so we wanted to go somewhere else close by. So, we came here. I had questions about items on the menu the waitress seemed to get very aggravated with me. They were very expensive IMO , but my kids are worth it. I ordered Chicken Parmesan with Spaghetti I did not like the spaghetti all !! First, there was no sauce on it. Is that what real Italian restaurants do ? Don't add sauce to their pasta ?? I hate plain macaroni. Plus, the spaghetti tasted weird. Idk what they put on it, but I didn't like it. The chicken was ok. My lemon tart was , meh !! Ambiance was okay. Nothing great. My boys said it was alright. My son who got the shrimp scampi said it was very good, but , for that money, everything should've been amazing !! I will never come back here again.

For the past six years or so been here twice a year. Wonderful place. Don't know why some reviews are so low. For the quality food, and the cost ... it's amazing. Service is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is romantic and cute. Wish there was a larger menu and maybe cut on down on the salt a tad. All that being said, we will be back for another date night and hope to see many others join us.

We went with another couple to Gigi's last night I was there one other time with my wife. The first time was very enjoyable. Food was great and the service was acceptable given that we weren't in a hurry anyway.Our latest visit had no service delays whatsoever. Food was great, our water glasses were always full, the owner came by to ask us how our meal was. We were literally waited on by no less than 3 people. They run a tight ship. Couldn't have been happier to enjoy our time together again at Gigi's. We will be back.
