Shoeless Joes - Kemptville

Out today with a bunch of friends on a hot Sunday afternoon. . Was here a few times and it's always been great.. our friends were so impressed with the service the food and the overall experience.. manager came and checked on us and wow! What a hoot! He was so friendly and was sincerely making sure our group was having a good time.. we'll always be back. . Keep up the good work shoeless joes!

I came in my my family from merrickville. . We were greeted with the friendliness smile and was served promptly. . Our waitress was Dayna and she was so wonderful. . She changed the TV to cartoons at our table and I watched the game on the big screen.. she suggested the spinach dip as an appetizer. . Which we really liked then she recommended the pecan chicken which we had and was so delicious! She even brought out our kids meals first so they were happy.. we even stayed for dessert.. try the cosmo cheesecake.. yummy! We will be back for sure! Everyone also looked like they really like working there.. the owner Jeff even stopped by our table to say hi! Really nice touch..

This was our second visit to Shoeless Joe's in Kemptville and the experience was even better than the first visit in April 2017. This visit we had a reservation for our entire extended family, about 15 of us. The servers and management were amazing with serving our large and somewhat unique group. They were extremely polite and prompt in bring drinks and appetizers as well as answering questions on the menu and taking our orders. For such a large group they delivered our meals in a short timeframe and all meal were superb! I would definitely recommend the burgers, beef stroganauf and their spinach dip. I was extremely impressed that the service was as good with our larger group as it had been with our impromptu visit in April when it was just 2 of us. The management team and servers add a personal touch by visiting tables to check on our satisfaction. Can't go wrong stopping in here for a drink or a meal...Thanks Shoeless Joe's. We'll be back again soon.

Went with our 2 older kids on our way home from Ogdensburg Airport and didn't check reviews before stopping. Should have just done fast food instead.My husband ordered a 3 cheese philly (menu only stated 2 cheeses... so who knows what the 3rd cheese was) and I ordered the Greek chicken wrap. The kids had mini cheese burgers.Half way through my wrap I realized I had a sand type texture in my teeth. I opened the wrap up thinking it was the lettuce... but the chicken had the same sand like grit. A manager (?) came to the table asking if everything was ok and I mentioned it to him. He left to speak to the kitchen and came back saying it was probably the Parmesan cheese in the sauce. I have never had Parmesan have that gritty texture but whatever. He offered a coupon for 5$ off our next visit, which I declined since we wouldn't likely choose to return. He left it saying "just in case".My husband then finished his sandwich and started his fries and they also had a sand type grit to them. Not a clue what it could be but neither of us finished our plate. We mentioned the fries to the waitress who said we should have told her earlier...??? I'm guessing no one communicates there. I reiterated that we told the other guy but she just kept insisting that we should have told her (yet she didn't come by the table until we were done).Overall, a 50$ meal was rather disappointing and we will never return. You'd likely be better off eating at the A&W or Subway... I suspect their food wouldn't have sand in it.

Shoeless Joe's is our go to restaurant now. We have been to the one in Cornwall twice, Kingston once, and met friends in Kempville once. They have a little mini menu where they showcase new creations from their chefs. The popular meals make it onto the main menu. Great idea. You could go there a half a dozen times and try something different each time.
