Spicy Banda Kemah

Food was surprisingly very good. This is they type of hole in the wall Chinese food I 'm always in the hunt for. I came for a late dinner; 830ish. The hostess and waitress were very friendly. They got me seated and my drink order promptly (might 've been because of the time I chose to dine). I asked for recommendations of an appetizer and the waitress asked all the right questions to narrow down what I was in the mood for. I decide to go with the Beef Pan Fried Bao and it was very well portioned, bread/meat wise. For the entree, I ordered the Sichuan Chili Beef. I 'm into spicy food and this did not disappoint my hunger for spice. I received a bowl of rice on the side and it balanced out the heat level nicely. Everything from the veggies to the beef were cooked to perfection. I 'd be afraid to order something different next time, being that I enjoyed it so much. Only down side to this place was that I was charged with fighting off a few gnats durning my visit. If you 've ever had a gnat in your house, you know how annoying and pesky they can be, especially around food. Get this under control or I won 't be back. The food and staff was great, but I hope this was an anomaly with the gnats. I 'll give it some time before going back but I hope for sunny days on my next visit.

This place is by far the best Chinese restaurant in the area. The food is consistently well prepared and delicious. The portions are large because it is meant to be served family style. They have a varied menu and the service is excellent. Whether dine-in or take-out they never disappoint. I would recommend this place over any other in the Kemah, League City area. I highly recommend the salt and pepper shrimp or beef dry hot pot. My fav's.

Very good Dan Dan noodles. I will definitely be headed back for more. Also my Mom loved her egg drop soup. The service was prompt as well.

Food was really good. Would probably recommend eating the food at the restaurant or immediately after you do a pick up to get the real authenticity of the dishes. I might have just made that phrase up but the pan fried beef buns were really good, especially with the dipping sauce it came with. The stir fry beef with flat rice noodle was super good and definitely something you should eat hot off the wok. The beef was super tender. The duck wasn't my favorite, it was a little dry and not as crispy skinned as I would like but it definitely wasn't terrible. I love how it comes with a big bowl of duck bone soup. The pancakes that it comes with are super thin and tasty. Definitely make sure to add the hoisin, julienned scallion and cucumber in your little duck wrap. I've had their food delivered before and it was only so so. Definitely much better when I ate at the restaurant

I really, really like this place and its not just bc of their emoji cute panda logo. The Sichuan cuisine here is really authentic and outright flavorful it's truly a gem of a Chinese restaurant. Ghost the General and moo shu: Dan dan noodles, double cooked pork, and three pepper chicken are the real heavy hitters here. I am really happy to have this place so close by, but my glutes are not.
