Lil Saul's Tacos - KEMAH

I ordered the Galveston and El Lago tacos, opting for a salad base instead of the tortilla. I should mention that they offer almond flour tortillas for those on a keto diet, but I didn’t choose that option since I’m not following keto myself. The Galveston Taco, which features Ahi Tuna, was delicious! The El Lago contained chicken, and although the staff claimed the chicken had a lot of flavor, I found it to be a bit bland. My dining companion ordered nachos, which we both really enjoyed! While we waited for our food, they served us chips and salsa. The chips were light and airy, almost like baked chips—very tasty and unique. However, they used the same chips for the nachos, which led to them getting soggy quickly. It might be better to use a thicker chip for the nachos to prevent that. While we were there, they offered us samples of their blood orange and lemon lime margaritas as they awaited their fleet license, and they were fantastic! Overall, it was a good meal, and I believe it will only get better as they fully launch their menu!

The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is lively. The menu features filet mignon as the star attraction, making it a fantastic value. The beans are simply the best you'll find anywhere. The staff is amazing, and the service is top-notch. You definitely need to take the time to experience this place. Be sure to say hello to Saul; he’s a great guy!

My husband and I ordered the Nassau Bay and made it vegan. We replaced the queen with tortilla, chips and salsa, beans, and rice. The chef really knows his craft. The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The chips were crispy without being overly salty, the salsa had a nice kick, and the beans and rice were perfectly seasoned. The guacamole wasn’t salty but had a wonderful flavor. Parking is convenient, and while the interior is a bit small, it’s clean, bright, and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Had an absolutely amazing experience!!!! The food was fanominal and very well seasoned. Saul's white queen will change you from time to time yellow. Very good beans and the tacos are really good. I had the El Lago and recommend it very much. Only the perfect amount of warmth to balance everything and make sure you have the blood Orange Margarita!

I loved the fried crawfish tail taco! The beans were fantastic too! I'm not a rice eater and passed on this side.
